Data / Hard drives

An almost revolutionary development is producing far-reaching changes to the previous working processes. While video and audio material used to be exchanged on reels and tapes, there are now all sorts of forms of data and data carriers. Productions are thus now predominantly 'digital' and exist in all possible forms of data.

Key to the quality here is the data format - while, for example, MPEG1 fulfils largely preview and working copy purposes, MPEG2 at 50MBit/sec. provides SD images of acknowledged high quality. On top of this there are numerous HD variants differentiated by resolution and images per second.

We have therefore equipped ourselves for practically all specifications required for the read-out, digitalisation and 'playback' of files on hard drives. This includes the professional conversion of files into video signals that are recorded onto varying HD or SD video formats.

For video-on-demand applications we produce the files to the operator's technical specifications. We pay particular attention here to the minutiae of the specifications, as it is all too easy to produce 'incorrect' data. If we do actually ever come up against any limitation, we make every effort to find a solution for you as flexibly and as quickly as possible.
