When we're talking about high-quality productions to be shown to demanding viewers via television or the big screen, then it is clear that adherence to all necessary standards is essential. Before any documentary, movie or trailer leaves our premises, it is subjected as a rule to a quality control process.
In addition to the purely visual checking of image and sound, in the case of files it is above all the format's comprehensive technical parameters that play an important role. These parameters cannot be recorded visually or acoustically.
Every broadcaster and every video-on-demand provider has their own guidelines for how a file's structure should look. Prior to leaving our premises the files must therefore be closely checked against these specifications. To carry out these tests we use the 'Baton' system, which exports the parameters required for the visual and acoustic check. The Baton report can be given to you in HTML, PDF or Excel format.
